| " Rewards " This week we should see the manifestation of our goals. Things that we are wishing or hoping for could become reality with hard work and focus. When we hear the door of opportunity knock (trick or treat), we can receive either rewards or missed opportunity depending on the effort we have put forth from the opportunity at hand. This is a card of manifestation on the physical plane - however, the manifestation depends on the effort we put forth to turn our dreams into reality. This card offers challenges and reward. So when opportunity knocks, we need to answer its call and listen to what is being offered, because the final reward is up to what we do with the opportunity at hand. Keywords: Manifestation, security, wealth, new enterprise, success Hope this week brings opportunity, abundance and success. |
| " Celebration & Family" Traditionally the element of earth is represented by the suit of pentacles, however in the Halloween Tarot, the pentacles are now pumpkins that represent earth. Earth is the element that represents our Physical comforts as well as our health, family and financial concerns. The number ten is the number of regeneration after the completion of the number nine (the ending of one cycle in order to begin anew). In this card we see a playful scene as two costumed figures (one ghoulish looking adult and a small child dressed as a bat) are playing a game in the dark of night by an old tree. There is a black cat on the ground sitting on one of the pumpkins watching over the two figures at play, there are three brightly lit stars in the sky (The black cat and the pumpkin represent the nature of our intuition in our earthly pursuits while the three stars represent universal celebration and co-operation). The costumes represent the flight taken in conquering our fears and knowing who we can trust even though appearance are not only disguised, but the boy is also blindfolded representing blind faith in those we trust. There are eight pumpkins scattered on the branches of an old tree while a ninth pumpkin is being held by a rope wrapped around one of the branches for the young child to take a swing at with a stick (this represents a game of piņata ) and the young boy knows that not only can he trust the adult to lower the pumpkin for him to swing at and hit, but once he succeeds at his task, there will be a reward awaiting him full of goodies. This is a card of playful anticipation, family fun and trust. When we believe in our abilities and have comfort and trust in those we love and admire, the rewards will be many and very sweet. |

| "The past is a treasure to be cherished forever,
today is the present that we unwrap moment by moment, the future is the gift we create from those treasures. In the end, it is not just the gift that is important, it is the thought we put into choosing the right present that truly matters." www.renaissancemoon.com /tarot "Destiny is not a matter of chance, it is a matter of choice; it is not a thing to be waited for, it is a thing to be achieved." `William Jennings Bryan |
