| Welcome To This Weeks One Card Reflection For Week Ending December 5 2008 |
| THIS WEEKS REFLECTION IS THE TWO OF WANDS FROM THE RIDER-WAITE-SMITH TAROT |
| Card Description: |
| "Cause and Effect" Past dreams are ready to be put into action. As you reflect on goals and projects this week, realize that you can achieve anything you put your energy into if you truly desire. The biggest obstacle with any new idea or project is fear of failure or stagnation, but it is important to understand that with any new undertaking, whether successful or not, there is always growth and from that growth we gain knowledge for future successes. Standing firmly behind ideas and putting energy into positive action creates a foundation of strength and determination. This card represents realization of dreams, success and creative partnerships. Working towards goals, cooperation, listening to ideas, hard work and effort are all part of making dreams become future realities. This is a week of facing fears, overcoming obstacles and achieving our goals. Believe in yourself, see the potential that is within you and everything will fall into it's proper place. Keywords: Dominion, decision, negotiation, obstacles Hope this week brings determination and confidence. |
| "Pause and Reflect" The suit of wands is the element of fire which represents creativity, energy, spirit and ideas (as represented by large tree branches sprouting leaves for growth and inspiration). The number two is the number of partnership, co-operation and unions. The two of wands shows a man who appears to be successful, he is dressed in brown and orange (confidence and spiritual growth.) The man pictured in this card stands on a balcony as he looks over the land (material) and sea (emotional). The first wand is directly behind him but is bolted to the wall (restrictions or blockages in his spiritual foundation) and the second wand is in his left hand and he is either holding it or leaning on it to represent his faith in his ideas. His right hand holds a globe that resembles the earth as if he holds the world in the palm of his hand while he meditates the mountains and the waters on the landscape and contemplates his next success. The wand in the mans left hand rests on a concrete block that contains a picture of a cross with roses and lilies on the alternating points of the cross (the cross represents the spirit, the roses represent passion and the lilies represent purity). This is a card of taking control, making plans and waiting for success and achievement after sincere efforts have been put into action. |
| This Weeks Reflection: |
| "The Past is a treasure to be cherished forever,
today is the Present that we unwrap moment by moment, the Future is the gift we create from those treasures. In the end, it is not just the gift that is important, it is the thought we put into choosing the right present that truly matters." www.renaissancemoon.com/tarot "Destiny is not a matter of chance, it is a matter of choice; it is not a thing to be waited for, it is a thing to be achieved." `William Jennings Bryan |
